Choosing the Right Cooling Tower Fan
Marley fans differ mainly in size, blade material and sound level. H3 and X7 fans have aluminium blades and suit small to mid-size towers. HP7i and HP7000 fans have fibreglass composite blades for larger towers, up to 10 m in diameter. The Ultra Quiet fan is designed for HVAC cooling towers where low sound is essential.

Cast aluminium alloy blades with a true twisted airfoil, on a machined aluminium hub. The blade pitch can be adjusted to make full use of the motor's rated power.

Marley X7 Fan
Designed for induced-draft cooling towers, with hollow extruded aluminium blades and a wide-chord airfoil for strong airflow and low noise at reduced speed. FlareTip™ blade tips reduce air losses near the fan cylinder. Diameters: 66″ to 168″ (about 1.7 to 4.3 m).
Marley HP7i Fan
Single-piece fibreglass composite blades with FlareTip™ tips, designed for low-noise operation and high airflow at reduced speed. The blade pitch is easy to adjust.
Diameters: 120″ to 240″ (about 3 to 6.1 m).
Marley HP7000 Fan
Built for industrial cooling towers, with one-piece fibreglass-reinforced blades on a heavy-duty galvanised steel hub. Blades can be swapped without rebalancing the fan.
Diameters: 240″ to 394″ (about 6.1 to 10 m).
