Marley Cooling Towers & Fluid Coolers in Singapore

Stolz Engineering is the official distributor of Marley cooling towers in Singapore. We supply Marley evaporative cooling towers and evaporative fluid coolers manufactured by SPX Cooling Tech, and support every project from product selection and installation through to testing, commissioning and long-term maintenance.

Why Choose Marley Through Stolz Engineering

With over 1,000 cooling tower installations, our team helps building owners, facility managers, contractors and industrial plants select the right Marley equipment for their cooling load, available space and operating conditions.

Because we also install, commission and maintain the equipment we supply, you work with one team throughout the life of your cooling tower. Our support covers consultation and problem analysis, delivery and installation, testing and commissioning, parts replacement, and ongoing service and maintenance.

Evaporative Cooling Towers

An evaporative cooling tower removes heat from water by bringing it into direct contact with moving air. As a small portion of the water evaporates, the remaining water is cooled and returned to the system, such as a chiller plant or an industrial process. Marley evaporative cooling towers are available in two main designs: crossflow and counterflow.

Marley NC Class crossflow cooling tower

Crossflow Cooling Towers

Models: NC Class, NC Everest, AV Series, Aquatower, NC Alpha, NX Series

In a crossflow cooling tower, air travels horizontally through the fill while water falls vertically across it. Hot water is distributed by gravity from basins at the top of the tower, and the open layout makes internal components easy to inspect and maintain.

Marley MD Class counterflow cooling tower

Counterflow Cooling Towers

Models: MD Class, MD Everest, MCW, CP

In a counterflow cooling tower, air moves upward through the fill against the falling water, which is distributed by pressurised spray nozzles. Counterflow towers typically need less plan area, making them well suited to sites where space is limited.

Evaporative Fluid Coolers

An evaporative fluid cooler, also known as a closed-circuit cooling tower, keeps the process fluid inside a coil so it never comes into contact with the outside air. Water is sprayed over the outside of the coil while air moves through the unit, cooling the fluid inside. Keeping the process loop clean helps protect sensitive equipment and reduces maintenance.

Hybrid & Closed-Circuit Fluid Coolers

MH Fluid Cooler (hybrid), DT Fluid Cooler (closed circuit)

Marley MH and DT fluid coolers keep the process fluid inside a clean, closed coil. The MH combines a coil with fill for higher efficiency, while the DT is an induced-draft, coil-only design.

Recold JW forced draft fluid cooler

Forced Draft Fluid Coolers

Models: MC Fluid Cooler, Recold JW Fluid Cooler

Compact, low-noise fluid coolers with centrifugal fans that push air through the unit. Well suited to indoor plant rooms and noise- or space-sensitive sites.

Which Is Right for Your Project?

A crossflow cooling tower is a strong choice when easy access for maintenance is a priority.

A counterflow cooling tower suits projects where plan area is limited.

An evaporative fluid cooler is the right choice when the process fluid must stay clean and isolated, for example in industrial processes or sensitive HVAC systems.

Not sure which one you need? Our team can recommend the right Marley product based on your cooling load, available space and operating requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the official Marley cooling tower distributor in Singapore?

Stolz Engineering Pte. Ltd. is the official distributor of Marley cooling towers in Singapore. We supply Marley cooling towers, evaporative fluid coolers and replacement parts, and provide installation, testing and commissioning, and maintenance services.

What is the difference between a crossflow and a counterflow cooling tower?

In a crossflow tower, air moves horizontally across water falling through the fill. In a counterflow tower, air moves upward against the falling water. Crossflow towers offer easy maintenance access, while counterflow towers typically need less plan area.

What is the difference between a cooling tower and a fluid cooler?

In an open cooling tower, the water being cooled is in direct contact with the air. In an evaporative fluid cooler, the process fluid stays inside a closed coil and never touches the air, which keeps it clean.

Does Stolz Engineering install and maintain the equipment it supplies?

Yes. In addition to supplying Marley equipment, we provide delivery and installation, testing and commissioning, parts replacement, and ongoing service and maintenance.
