Poor Cooling Performance: When the cold water temperature is higher than it should be, common causes include clogged fill, uneven water distribution, incorrect fan settings or restricted airflow.
Noise and Vibration: These are often caused by misalignment between the motor, driveshaft and gearbox, worn gearbox parts or an unbalanced fan.
Water Loss: Excessive water loss can come from damaged drift eliminators, basins overflowing because of clogged nozzles, or a faulty makeup water float valve.
Clogging and Scale: Debris, scale and biological growth can block fill and nozzles over time, reducing airflow and cooling performance.
